Explore the Future of Content Business: Cross Media Seminar in Kyoto

A "Content Cross Media Seminar" is being held in Kyoto to explore the charm and possibilities of the content business.

This seminar will be held in two sessions, inviting top industry professionals to learn about the forefront of the content business.

The first session features Mitsuru Sugaya, a manga artist and president of the Japan Cartoonists Association, who will explain the transformation of the manga business in the digital age, including examples of generative AI utilization. It will be held at the Keisho Hall of Kyoto Brighton Hotel on Thursday, October 9th, starting at 2:00 PM.

The second session will feature Natsuko Toda, a renowned film subtitle translator, who will discuss the behind-the-scenes of the film industry and the power of words, based on her experience with over 1500 works, under the theme "Movies, Words, and Stars Behind the Scenes of Subtitle Translation." This will be held at the BALL ROOM Ⅰ of Hyatt Regency Kyoto on Tuesday, November 25th, starting at 4:00 PM.

Both sessions are free to attend, but capacity is limited, so early registration is recommended.
