Tsugumi Sasao The Collage "Ceci est une lettre d'amour" Exhibition at Shibuya Hikarie

An exhibition by collage artist Tsugumi Sasao, titled "Tsugumi Sasao The Collage 'Ceci est une lettre d'amour'," will be held at Shibuya Hikarie in Tokyo. This event, taking place for five days only, showcases Sasao's unique collage works inspired by the humor and small joys she discovered in Paris.

The venue, Creative Lounge MOV aiiima, is located on the 8th floor of Shibuya Hikarie, offering a sophisticated setting for art appreciation. As an indoor facility, it provides a comfortable viewing experience regardless of the weather. The artworks presented are described as being created like letters or cards, imbued with the joy of opening mail and Parisian humor. Under the theme "Ceci est une lettre d'amour," Sasao expresses a warm worldview through these pieces.

Visitors can expect to see delicate collages featuring found objects such as buttons and tiles discovered by the riverbank in Royanne, as well as charming miniatures found at Parisian flea markets. Each piece is carefully assembled into small frames, conveying themes of everyday humor, travel memories, and affection.
