In an era where cultural boundaries are blurring due to globalization, this exhibition returns to photography's fundamental role of "recording and preserving." It showcases works that capture "borders" as they exist today. The exhibition particularly focuses on the photographic journey of an artist living on an island nation, documenting the border between the United States and Mexico, where geographically continuous landscapes are distinctly separated.

Highlights

The captured images depict the border, a line of iron structures lying silently amidst vast landscapes, encountered during a journey through remote areas. These borders are interpreted not merely as barriers to the outside world but as membranes of life, subtly revealing one's own identity. Through these photographs, which quietly hold history between landscapes, the exhibition offers an opportunity to reconsider the meaning of "borders" in contemporary society.

An opening reception will also be held, with photographer Yusuke Miyake expected to be present.
