Roger Nichols Tribute Event & Talk Show at Tower Records Shibuya on Oct 18

A special talk show and fan event commemorating the vinyl release of Roger Nichols will be held at TOWER VINYL SHIBUYA on the 6th floor of Tower Records Shibuya on Sunday, October 18, 2026. This event honors the legacy of Roger Nichols, who passed away on May 17, 2025, as part of the "Roger Nichols Forever" vinyl series. The event is free to attend.

The program features a special talk session with Takashi Hamada, the supervisor of the "Roger Nichols Forever" series, and Wataru Sawabe from the band "Skirt" as the special guest. During the talk, a selection of rare footage of Roger Nichols appearing on a Norwegian music program, owned by Hamada, will be screened. This footage is not available on platforms like YouTube, offering a unique viewing opportunity.

The fourth title (Sony release) in December is planned as a first-time LP release. Pre-orders for all titles include jacket design stickers.

Attendees who purchase the "Full Circle" (1st release) and "My Heart Is Home" (2nd release) LPs at Tower Records Shibuya's 6th floor will receive a special, non-sale postcard. One "Bonus Ticket" can be exchanged for this postcard. Bonus Tickets are distributed to customers who purchase either the "Full Circle" LP upon its arrival on September 15, 2026, or the "My Heart Is Home" LP upon its arrival on October 13, 2026, at the 6th-floor store. Please note that online reservations and holds are not eligible for Bonus Ticket acquisition.

The venue, TOWER VINYL SHIBUYA, is an indoor event space within Tower Records Shibuya. While admission is free, entry may be restricted if the venue reaches capacity. Arriving early is recommended. No special items are required for general admission, but purchasing the target LPs is necessary for the bonus event. Further details, including the availability of bonus tickets and admission policies, should be confirmed on the official Tower Records Shibuya website.
