Kickoff Workshop for #ShibLover Club to be Held at Shibuya Hikarie
The "club activities" aimed at making Shibuya more interesting are making a much-anticipated return. The #ShibLover Club Kickoff Workshop will be held on Monday, July 13, 2026, at "8/COURT" within Shibuya Hikarie. Inheriting the spirit of the popular "#ShibLover" event from 2023, this workshop will bring together people who love Shibuya to collaboratively think about the town's future.
New Community Activities to Discuss Shibuya's Future
The theme of this workshop is "How can we make Shibuya, which is undergoing significant changes, more interesting through the power of Shibuya lovers?" The aim is to foster active exchange of opinions among participants. A diverse group of individuals will gather, including those who live in Shibuya, work there, visit it, or wish to start something new in the area – all united by their affection for Shibuya. Through inspiring talks by key figures in Shibuya and group work sessions where participants will brainstorm ideas, the creation of new connections and innovative concepts is expected.
Featuring Esteemed Facilitators and Shibuya Key Persons
The workshop will be facilitated by Yuji Fujita, Representative Director of Peatix Japan and主宰 of SHIBUYA-BALCON, and Azusa Kawahara, Representative Director of Potage Inc. and a Community Accelerator. These experts in community building and event production will draw out participants' creativity and guide productive discussions. Furthermore, the event will feature a variety of "Shibuya LOVERs" from different fields, including Mayuko Ueno (Kids Experience Designer), Saori Kanda (Social Activist), Hazuki Kumada (Writer/PR Planner), Yuta Takahashi (Chief Staff Officer for Urban Data Utilization Promotion, Global Hub City Promotion Division, Shibuya City Office), Naotake Hibiya (Representative of kipples / 主宰 of craft beer bar "Bibibi." / 主宰 of SHIBUYA BALCON), and Takashi Yokoishi (Representative Director of &Co.).
