Pokemon Card Battle Event - Premier Ball Edition at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA

A "Battle Event Premier Ball Edition" will be held at SHIBUYA TSUTAYA on September 19, 2026. This special event allows participants to fully enjoy the POKÉMON CARD LOUNGE for an entire day, from morning to night.

The event features various activities designed to foster connections among players, including a "BOX Opening & Social Gathering" where participants can share snacks and drinks while opening booster boxes, and a "Point-Based Battle" where attendees can bring their favorite decks to compete. Including free time, guests can stay for up to 12 hours.

Event Details

The day begins with registration, followed by the "Point-Based Battle" in the morning. This battle uses the Standard Regulation and the Swiss Draw format, allowing up to 7 matches. Achieving 3 wins earns participants an original "Mini Tote Bag" novelty item. In the afternoon, participants can purchase one booster box of their choice from selected series ("Mega Brave", "Mega Symphonia", "Abyss Eye", "Storm Emeralda") for the "BOX Opening & Social Gathering". This session is a time to open packs while enjoying snacks and drinks and interacting with other players. In the evening, a "Start Deck 100 Battle Collection Battle" will take place, where participants use a purchased "Start Deck 100 Battle Collection" for a fixed-deck battle. The winner will receive a 1,000 JPY discount coupon for lounge use. Free time is available outside of scheduled events until closing at 10:30 PM.

What to Bring & Notes

Attendees should bring their 60-card deck, damage counters, and markers for poison/burn status. While some items are available for loan, availability is limited, so bringing your own is recommended. Booster packs and the "Start Deck 100 Battle Collection" must be purchased separately from the event fee. All purchased packs and decks must be opened and used during the event. The event will use the "Tonamel" tournament management app; participants with an account should log in, while others will register on-site. The participation fee is payable in advance, and no refunds will be issued for partial attendance. Basic rule explanations will not be provided, so prior knowledge of the rules is assumed.
